OPTEX, a global sensor manufacturer with a 40-year track record, will showcase its latest innovations in advanced intrusion detection and perimeter protection at the Danish Security Fair.
For the first time in Scandinavia, OPTEX will introduce its recently launched EchoPoint™ Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS), its latest innovation in fibre optic sensing technology that provides precise point detection for protecting large perimeters and high-security sites, such as airports, logistic centres, railways, and critical infrastructure.
REDSCAN LiDARs
Throughout the event, OPTEX will deliver live demonstrations of its multi-award-winning REDSCAN LiDAR series, including a preview of its latest model in the series. REDSCAN LiDARs use time-of-flight technology to provide highly accurate detection in both interior and exterior environments.
The sensors can be mounted horizontally to create virtual ceilings to protect roofs and open areas, or vertically to create virtual walls to protect perimeters and narrow spaces like outdoor corridors or building facades. They also have the ability to create alerts based on specific detection criteria or logic and there are models with a built-in camera for easy installation and post-event alarm verification.

The show will also provide the opportunity for OPTEX to showcase the FlipX series, its new range of Grade 2 and Grade 3 indoor intrusion detectors that feature an innovative lens that can be ‘flipped’ to provide both narrow and wide detection in a single-sensor.
