System overview This MotionEye model is an indoor/outdoor dual detection camera which uses both video and infrared sensor to achieve motion detection and PIR functionality, reducing false alarms and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of real-time alarm information. Built-in PIR and coax alarm output makes the camera an ideal choice for applications which require video verification of intrusion alarms, such as courtyards, offices, warehouses, stores, etc. Functions Wide Detection Range Designed with Fresnel lens, the PIR of MotionEye is able to cover wide monitoring range with horizontal angle of view up to 110° within a distance from 2m to 10m. Dual detection The detection accuracy is well guaranteed with both motion detection and PIR detection, which can eliminate the number of false alarms you receive. With the advantage of dual detection technology, your HDD will now last longer and not be recorded with false alarms. Gone are the days of alarms caused by heavy wind or rain. Instead, only true threats will instantly trigger an alarm and allow you to protect your loved ones. Long-distance transmission HDCVI technology guarantees long-distance and real-time transmission without any loss. It supports up to 700m for 4MP HD video via coaxial cable, and up to 300m via UTP cable*. *Actual results verified by real-scene testing in Dahua's test laboratory. HD/SD switchable (video only) The camera supports switchable HDCVI high definition video output and CVBS standard definition video output. The two formats can be switched over through OSD menu. This feature makes the camera to be compatiblewith both HCVRs and existing analogue DVRs and also facilitates debugging through analogue testers. Smart IR The camera is designed with array LED IR illumination for best lowlight performance. Smart IR is a technology to ensure brightness uniformity in B/W image under low illumination. Dahua’s unique Smart IR adjusts to theintensity of camera's infrared LEDs to compensate for the distance of an object, and prevents IR LEDs from overexposing images as the object come closer to the camera. Protection The camera's outstanding reliability is unsurpassed due to its rugged design. The camera is protected against water and dust with IP67, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor environments. With PIR working temperature range of -10 °C to +50 °C (+14 °F to +122 °F), the MotionEye is designed for extreme temperature environments. Supporting ±30% input voltage tolerance, this camera suits even the most unstable power supply conditions. Its 4KV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning.

IndigoVision Doubles Resilient NVR Storage with 2TB Disks IndigoVision, leading manufacturer of complete IP Video security solutions, introduces 2TB disks to its NVR-AS 3000 range of 'Plug & Go' Linux Network Video Recorders. This doubles storage capacity without increasing physical footprint, power consumption or associated environmental control equipment. With up to 6TB of usable RAID 5 storage in a single unit, the NVR-AS 3000 is a compelling alternative to Windows-based storage. Resilience, reliability and low-maintenance are the key to the NVR-AS 3000's "Plug & Go" capability. They support fully redundant power supplies and fully redundant Gigabit Ethernet connections as well as options for RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 5. Linux means no upgrades/patches as required with Windows storage and its built-in firewall make it secure. Extremely low power consumption and heat dissipation enable units to be rack- or desk-mounted. IndigoVision's distributed architecture means that NVRs can be located at any point on the network, for example near clusters of cameras in order to reduce bandwidth across the network. Using "Control Center", IndigoVision's Video Management Software, advanced redundancy strategies can be easily implemented. Backup NVRs can continuously record the same video in parallel to primary NVRs (mirroring) or automatically takeover recording if a primary NVR fails. Backup NVRs can be located at a different physical location to primary NVRs, adding further resilience to physical disruption.NVRs record full framerate video and audio from 64 cameras and playback 20 streams simultaneously. Models are available with a range of storage capacities from either fixed disks or hot-swappable removable drives. All disks are rated for 24/7 recording and have a 3-year warranty. The high-performance of the NVR-AS 3000 products coupled with IndigoVision's class-leading compression technology means that each NVR can record both MPEG-4 and H.264 video from multiple cameras for long periods. For example, a single NVR-AS 3000 can record H.264 video from 32 IndigoVision cameras continuously at 4SIF, full framerate, based on moderate motion levels for over 31 days. To record for longer periods, simply spread cameras across more NVRs; for example, for 90 days use 10 cameras per NVR. NVRs record video from both IndigoVision IP cameras and third party ONVIF cameras. Due to the NVRs' ultra low power consumption running costs are much lower compared to Windows-based storage. They can be stacked densely in a 19 inch rack, which requires less AC cooling plant and reduces physical footprint.Add to Compare

Complete solutions for small businesses using Advantage Line products from BoschFollowing on from our last article on security for small shops, we look at how Advantage Line products from Bosch fulfill all the surveillance needs of small offices. Choose between familiar analogue solutions or increasingly popular network IP solutioncs. A secure small office. For small offices, it's important for staff to feel safe and to keep a watch out for people pretending to be genuine visitors. Security starts in the parking area of the office. This can be guarded by one or two infrared dome cameras or IP 200 Series infrared bullet cameras, ideal for helping spot any suspicious activity. Here, cameras with Day/Night capability ensure the best quality, round-the-clock surveillance. An additional infrared dome camera can be fitted outside the entrance door to observe visitors, with a monitor at the reception desk to identify guests.Inside the office at the reception area, a discreet dome color camera keeps an unobtrusive eye on the comings and goings of visitors. Alternatively, a fixed-body camera can be used as more of a deterrent, making it more obvious that surveillance is installed on the premises. To heighten the deterrent factor further, a 19" confrontational monitor adds an obvious statement.Enhancing overall securitySmall offices often have an area between entrance and reception that is open to the public, where people can sit or stand while waiting for an appointment. Here, one or more ceiling-mounted overview cameras greatly enhance overall security. Again dome or fixed-body color cameras can be used depending on personal choice.A video recorder, such as the Bosch 600 Series makes the perfect system manager for an analog system. It displays playback and recorded video from up to 16 cameras at a single location, and can even stream live video over the internet to a device such as a smartphone. If the system uses IP cameras, video recording can be made to central storage on a network attached storage (NAS) device. Recordings can also be safeguarded by taking advantage of the IP cameras' internal SD-card capability, capturing video directly on the camera. Cameras can also be linked to a PC using Bosch Video Client, which is supplied free for systems with up to 16 cameras.Optimal security on a limited budgetAdvantage Line is ideal for businesses looking for optimal security on a limited budget. Delivering professional performance at an affordable price, the products offer the trusted Bosch quality and reliability. And they also deliver outstanding image quality. They are designed to satisfy the demands of both installers and customers of smaller security installations, combining ease-of-installation and ease-of-use with just the right amount of features.Add to Compare
