At Enforce Tac 2023 (Nuremberg, 28 February to 1 March), the Teledyne FLIR PVS (Personal Vision Systems) team will shine the spotlight on its wide range of class-leading thermal monocular solutions for law enforcement agencies, police forces, border guards and military distributors active in this field.
On Stand 456 in Hall 10, visitors will also discover the industry-renowned support and service offer available from Teledyne FLIR PVS, alongside the availability of several attractive product discounts.
Official security agencies
Enforce Tac is a trade fair for members of official security agencies and the armed forces. Sharing a stand with the Teledyne FLIR Government & Defence team, Teledyne FLIR PVS will use the exhibition to showcase a number of key products that offer notable technological advantages, including ease of use (both GUI and pushbutton logic) and image quality (person detection at ranges up to 1900m).

Among the products taking centre stage will be the FLIR Breach PTQ 136 multifunctional thermal imaging monocular. Built for the rigours of law enforcement, the 60 Hz FLIR Breach PTQ 136 provides that all-important ‘sixth sense’ by recognising the heat of suspects and objects in complete darkness.
Notably, this monocular features FLIR’s Boson thermal core for advanced image processing and a bright high-definition display for excellent image clarity and better detection.
Outdoor thermal monocular
Weighing only 210 grams, it is possible to conceal the compact FLIR Breach in a pocket or mount it to a helmet via its mini-rail feature. The internal memory can store up to 1,000 images and 2.5 hours of video, while battery life is up to 90 minutes at 20°C.
Also on the stand will be the FLIR Scion OTM 266, an outdoor thermal monocular (640x480 resolution) that captures clear thermal images and leverages a sophisticated user interface to detect objects of interest in total darkness and through glaring light or haze.
Again built around FLIR’s powerful Boson core, the 60 Hz Scion OTM 266 records geotagged video and still images. A rugged, IP67-rated housing and intuitive controls permit single-hand operation in harsh weather conditions. The Scion OTM 266 offers person detection at 950m, recognition at 237m and identification at 118m.

For those seeking an even higher DRI (detection, recognition, identification) specification, Teledyne FLIR PVS will also display its Scion PTM series of professional thermal monoculars.
The Scion PTM 366 (640x480, 60Hz, 25mm) and Scion PTM 466 (640x512, 60Hz, 36mm) equip law enforcement professionals with superior thermal surveillance, packing high-performance thermal imaging into a rugged, IP67-rated handheld monocular.
Scion PTM
Capable of geotagged video recording and live video transmission, the Scion PTM can instantly stream encrypted thermal footage of any pursuit, evidence recovery, or search and rescue effort to the command centre via wireless network.
A picture-in-picture zoom captures minute details from a distance and maintains peripheral awareness for constant thermal supervision of suspects, team members and standbys. The Scion OTM 266 offers person detection at 1900m, recognition at 475m and identification at 237m.
Professional thermal monoculars
Providing even more incentive for those looking to invest in better, faster and more effective law enforcement and security, FLIR Breach multifunctional thermal imaging monoculars and FLIR LS-X tactical handheld thermal monoculars are currently subject to a 20% reduction.
