Secutech 2011 to serve as a platform for electronic and information security

Secutech, the international exhibition and conference for the electronic and information security, and fire and safety industries is expected to attract more than 3,000 IP related products and intelligent security solutions at its 2011 show to be held from 20 - 22 April at the Nangang Taipei World Trade Center, Taiwan. More than 25,000 professional buyers are expected to attend the 14th edition of the show to source the latest products and services in the electronic security, information security, and fire and safety industries.

Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd said that the show offers a diverse range of exhibition categories. "We offer everything that makes up an excellent security platform, from surveillance to IP and advanced security," he explained. "We also have the CompoSec section of the show where manufacturers can look for security product design solutions. In addition, there is also a fire and safety zone with Taiwan made fire products and an area for intelligent buildings and smart homes. The show is also supported by a three day global digital surveillance forum as well as a series of Composec seminars."

More than 3,000 IP related products and security solutions will be showcased

Secutech 2011 will feature more than 500 exhibitors who will showcase over 3,000 IP Security & HD surveillance solutions in zones and pavilions covering video software, IP equipment, video storage and recording, access control, biometrics, home automation and homeland security. Positioned as a professional platform for IP Surveillance, visitors to the show will see this year's new product launches from China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan's top-tier manufacturers.

In an interactive shopping environment, more than 150 IP solution manufacturers, including Brickcom, CNB, Dynacolor, GVD, Hikvision, iCatch, Infinova, ITX, Koukaam, Nuuo, Pinetron, Qnap, Sony, Vivotek, Wonwoo, will be showing hardware, software, recording storage and solutions such as IP/megapixel camera, VCA/VMS software and storage.

There will also be an access control / biometrics pavilion featuring 116 booths showcasing a complete range of products and services from IP readers, IP access control solutions, e-home systems, face recognition access control systems, fingerprint biometric systems, palm vein technology to intercoms and electronic magnetic locks. Security auditing solutions such as RFID products and technologies will also be displayed. Leading brands will include Assa Abloy, ChiYu, Entrypass, Flir, HID, Kaba, Keico, Micro Engine and Rosslare.

User Security Solutions: Global Digital Surveillance Forum

This 10th edition of this forum is the meeting place for security and IT industry leaders to explore technology breakthroughs and practical applications for convergence. Various sessions will explore the topics of HD/Megapixel surveillance, software and integration, and storage and management. Invited speakers include representatives from Axis, D-Link, Everfocus, Genetec, Hikvision, Milestone, ObjectVideo, Panasonic, Pelco, Promise, Seagate and Vivotek.

Security design solutions: Composec

Events will cover HD surveillance, improved transmission and interfaces, next-generation identification and management, and green security.

Fire & Safety: Disaster prevention conference

During the conference, international and local academics will discuss government policy, latest technology as well as presenting a disaster prevention case history.

High technology protection forum

This forum offers three themes. The first is "High-tech plants safety management" followed by "New technology applications for enhancing the working environment" which is organised by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. The final theme is "Petrochemical plant safety management."
