Vigitron, Inc. the pioneering manufacturer of complete network solutions designed for security applications, announces the release of their Vi30132 and Vi30130 Enterprise Level L2+/L3 Lite High Bandwidth IEEE 802.3bt Managed PoE Network switches.

New switches

Switches were developed after extensive interaction with system-based project dealers"

"These switches were developed after extensive interaction with system-based project dealers," stated Neil Heller, Vice President of Business Development.

He adds, "The switches address the needs for high bandwidth, packet handling, and 8023.bt providing PoE up to 90 W per port while still maintaining compatibility with previous nonstandard PoE. Using these switches provides future proofing as more and more security equipment manufacturers especially for cameras and access control convert to 802.3bt PoE."

TimeZone feature

Neil Heller continues, "Unique to these and forthcoming switches is a TimeZone feature that references all connected devices to VMS systems or a central computer eliminating the need for costly equipment or having to access NTP services outside the network."

He adds, "These features extend Vigitron's commitment to health status network monitors and pre-installation of existing networks. Sales of this new line of network switches and associated products include a free and unrestricted copy of Vigitron's SysCap™ software for capturing system messaging."
