OnPoint Electrics has fitted Mul-T-Lock’s innovative vehicle security solution, MVP2000 to its company van, following a break in that resulted in a significant loss of tools.
Says Jon Dawson of On Point Electrics: “The crime was committed in less than 20 seconds, with my van in full view of obvious CCTV systems, in broad daylight, in front of a busy leisure centre. None of these elements seemed to act as a deterrent.”
Meeting customer requirements
Jon Dawson adds, “The loss of tools for myself and my Apprentice was significant and meant a huge amount of time and resource had to be invested in insurance claims, with the potential loss of work. Jon firmly believes that if Mul-T-Lock’s MVP2000 had been fitted earlier, it would have been enough to detract the criminal from attempting to access the van. Not only from a visual perspective but also due to its specialist all in one design, with its unique angled lock body and no hanging parts.
