MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems has signed a new UK distribution agreement with NBM Distribution Limited, a specialist supplier of data network cabling architecture solutions and security products which came into effect on December the 1st.

Established in 1988, NBM Distribution services the growing demands of the computer networking market. Based from premises in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, NBM supplies products to an active community of 450 data cabling installers, IT professionals and security specialists across the UK.

“MOBOTIX provides us with the missing piece of our strategy to offer a complete converged infrastructure product portfolio that stems from the network edge to the core,” explains Danny Kindell, Managing Director for NBM Distribution. ”We looked at a number of vendors and it became clear that MOBOTIX delivered both the image and product quality that our channel community expects along with the depth of training and support to help our partners implement IP based CCTV systems.”

NBM operates a 11,000 square foot warehouse that carries in-depth stock of structured cabling, switching, racking and security products from leading manufacturers including Brand-Rex, Hellermann Tyton, Prism Enclosures, Allied Telesis, Ackermann, Fujikura, Ideal, Unite by Panduit, Psiber, Cablelay, and Rittal.

“NBM is a highly regarded and focused distribution partner and the fact that they are only offering MOBOTIX based CCTV is a testament to the faith they have in our products and the potential we both feel that this agreement offers,” explains said Dominic Chapman, UK & Ireland Country Manager for MOBOTIX UK.
