ASSA ABLOY showcases new additions to its Aperio wireless access technology range at IFSEC 2013. Aperio wireless products offer an affordable way to integrate mechanical doors into an access control system, allowing security managers to extend the reach of secure wireless access within an organisation without breaking the bank. Aperio wireless locks replace existing mechanical locks without the need for additional expensive wiring. Aperio technology is also easily integrated into access control systems made by any manufacturer.

New key products in the Aperio range include:

Aperio SE: flexible, next generation support for multiple 13,56 MHz RFID technologies and devices, including Seos NFC mobile phone access from ASSA ABLOY. One device configured with Aperio SE can support MIFARE CLASSIC, PLUS and DESFire, as well as iCLASS by HID Global.

Aperio L100: is the world’s first complete wireless electronic security lock and can be integrated into new or existing access systems, without the need for complex and expensive cabling. The Aperio L100 features optimum physical protection and transmits comprehensive information on door status to the access control system via a wireless connection.

Aperio Sensor AS100: an unobtrusive wireless sensor that displays a door’s current security status and notifies an access control system. Fit up to 8 devices within 25 metres of an Aperio 1-to-8 Communication Hub to send status information wirelessly to your organisation’s security system.

Aperio PINpad Escutcheon: equip new or existing mechanical doors with up to three levels of wireless authentication security. Pinpads require a code of between 4 and 8 digits. An RFID reader supports all the key technologies. A third security level requires both pinpad and reader authentication. Escutcheons are compatible with all DIN standard European mortice locks.
