The 60-minute event is set to provide a high-level introduction to security industry standards

While one of the most impactful initiatives within the Monitoring Association (TMA) and the security industry, the importance and value of standards are often misunderstood by many. The intent of this special TMA Virtual Town Hall is to introduce (or re-introduce) security and monitoring practitioners to standards...What are they? How do they come about?

Who should be engaged in their development and why? Why are they important to the company? What value/ROI is the company going to realise? By the end of the Town Hall, attendees will walk-away with a clear understanding of standards and, perhaps, just one question...Why isn't their company engaged in standards?

TMA Standards Committee Chair Glenn Schroeder, NetOne, Inc., will be joined by current sub-committee and working group leaders, Mark McCall, STANLEY Security Solutions and Anita C. Ostrowski, Vector Security, as well as UL’s Senior Engineer Steve Schmit for this presentation.
