Secutech 2012, the International Exhibition and Conference for Electronic Security, Info Security, Fire and Safety, has attracted 532 exhibitors to its show which will be held 18 – 20 April 2012 at the Nangang Taipei World Trade Center.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, the 15th edition of the show will feature exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, including pavilions from China, Korea, Taiwan and the US.

In 35,873 sqm, exhibitors such as international brands Hikvision, Honeywell, Sony and Tyco, will display a wide range of products and services that cater to every aspect of the security industry, including IP & HD surveillance products, electronic security, fire and safety, and info security and security components.

Commenting on the show, Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd said: “With Secutech’s product diversity, I expect that the show will attract 26,000 professional visitors. This year, catering to new industry trends, we are launching the Vehicle Security Pavilion which will display everything related to onboard surveillance, including mobile cameras, mobile DVRs and vehicle tracking systems.”

Other easy sourcing pavilions include ones for IP Equipment, Access Control / Biometrics, Digital / HD Surveillance, Intrusion Alarm, as well as Home Automation. Altogether, the exhibitors display more than 3050 kinds of security products and related services.

144 fringe events equip industry players with market updates

Secutech is also an educational platform for the security industry and during the show there will be 144 events to keep industry players updated with market and technology news.

Making its debut at Secutech 2012 will be the Security 50 Annual Summit. Security 50 ranks the year’s top security players in terms of sales revenue. Representatives from the 50 companies in the ranking are invited to participate in the summit which will include a panel discussion exploring Security 50's Thoughts on Business Development and Management Strategies. Heavyweights from companies such as Axis, Honeywell, Milestone, Bosch, Verint and Fermax will share their key to success during this session.

Another show highlight will be the Secutech Awards featuring HD cameras, DVR / NVR and lens demonstrations by different brands.  Industry experts and professional visitors are invited to vote on-site for the winning product, and the results will be revealed on the last day of the show. These awards help to enhance sourcing efficiency by providing information about the different products.

The Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) has always been the focus of Secutech and this year’s theme will be “Surveillance Upgrade: IP and HD – from Concepts to Installation”.

The forum will focus on three topics, which are IP Megapixel Surveillance, HD SDI / 3G SDI surveillance as well as IP and HD surveillance essentials. Invited speakers from Vivotek, EverFocus, Hikvision, Panasonic, HDcctv alliance, Seagate and other companies, will share their insights with the audience.
