Vigitron Inc., the manufacturer of networking solutions for security applications announces the release of their network test tools. These tools have been specifically designed to test for the unique PoE and bandwidth requirements for networks designed for security applications.

Test equipment increases reliability

Networks used for security applications have unique requirements,” stated Neil Heller, Vigitron’s Vice President Business Development, “This especially applies to networks used for IP/PoE cameras where high bandwidth and PoE are required. The ability to work is not only dependent on the connected devices. The ability of cabling is critical."

"Existing products such as network switches may not meet the newer requirements. Vigitron’s new series of test equipment provides the ability to test existing network capacity and alert potential upgrade requirements. They can confirm operating installation status and even provide full commission reports and record keeping. For existing security networks Vigitron’s product quickly locates problem areas avoiding returning properly operating products. Vigitron’s test tools increase reliability and decrease system downtime.”
