Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has introduced its latest VUE Camera line, comprising a set of 5MP cameras aimed at enhancing visibility, intelligent detection, and proactive deterrence across various applications.
This launch builds upon the VUE Video Doorbell's recent unveiling, further expanding the VUE range with professional-grade cameras that provide improved performance, broader capabilities, and seamless integration within the DMP ecosystem. The VUE collection includes bullet, turret, and dome models, tailored for retail, quick-service restaurant (QSR), and medium to large commercial setups.
Enhanced image quality and detection
Equipped with 5MP resolution capabilities, VUE Cameras offer crisper image details, facilitating quicker and more reliable alarm verification.
Advanced analytics enable accurate identification of significant activities like human and vehicle detection, streamlining footage management and enhancing response accuracy. Compatible with PoE or 12VDC power, these cameras are ONVIF compliant and feature integrated microphones. Furthermore, they work in conjunction with the Virtual Keypad™, allowing users to monitor video, review events, and verify alarms remotely.
Integrated proactive deterrence features
The bullet and turret variants of the VUE Cameras include built-in active deterrence lighting, offering a choice of red, blue, or white lighting options. Additionally, they feature two-way audio, enabling users to intervene actively and potentially prevent incidents from escalating. Ken Francis, Executive Vice President of Video Solutions at DMP, stated, “The launch of VUE Cameras marks a significant advancement for our video lineup. Compared to our previous generation, these cameras deliver improved performance, sharper image quality and more capable analytics, helping dealers provide faster, more reliable and more proactive security.”
The VUE Cameras are now available through authorised DMP dealers, offering a robust solution for those seeking to bolster security measures across various environments.
