Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) pioneer empowering innovation, is proud to sponsor the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team as they head to Plymouth, Wisconsin, for the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend at the famed Road America course on August 7.
The team is coming off a great showing at the Northeast Grand Prix where drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 PRO to a third-place finish — the team’s sixth podium spot of the season. Additionally, Frankie Montecalvo nabbed his second-consecutive pole position in the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 car and went on to lead the GTD class for 114 total laps.
Performance-driven business model
Mouser is teaming up with Molex LLC to sponsor the No. 12 and No. 17 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Hawksworth, Barnicoat, and Kyle Kirkwood in the No. 14 and No. 17 cars and Montecalvo, Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car.

Technical design information
The next race in the championship is the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR on August 28, followed by the season finale at Motul Petit Le Mans, September 28–October 1 in Atlanta.
