ADT Security: security experts reveal five ways to keep the home safe when the clocks go back

Experts at ADT reveal their top five tips to make the home more secure when the clocks go back:

1. Make it look like someone is home: Empty homes are more likely to be targeted by thieves, so it’s a good idea to make the home look like it’s occupied while out. Turning on and off the lights or TV, can trick opportunistic robbers into thinking they are at home even when are not. Can also control the home while away using the smartphone thanks to smart plugs. 2. See who’s at the door: Even when they are not at home, a smart video doorbell allows them to see, hear, and speak to visitors.
