Pelco to demonstrate advanced video technology at APS 2017

At this year’s APS Show, Pelco by Schneider Electric is demonstrating their approach to meaningful innovation, showcasing a wide range of video management systems and cameras. At the lead is the recent launch of VideoXpert Professional, the most intuitive VMS available, offering enterprise features at a mid-market price.

Also being featured are the company’s Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras that are integrated with the industry’s leading VMS providers to deliver panomersive HD imaging that surrounds you. Additionally, attendees can get a first-hand look at Spectra Enhanced PTZ Cameras, setting a benchmark in HD, Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras, the right choice when nothing but the best will do and Evolution Stainless Steel Cameras, which makes wide-area surveillance affordable.

APS is an important event in the security and safety industry, attracting manufacturers, system integrators, service providers and installers. This year Pelco will be on site in two different booths; co-exhibiting with Tracor, and also sharing space with CCF.

 VideoXpert Professional

VideoXpert Professional is designed for small and medium-sized businesses with between 50 and 100 cameras. Engineered as an “all-in-one” system, VX Pro can be easily installed in under 20 minutes, with little-to-no VMS experience needed. Featuring Dell hardware, VideoXpert Professional users will have the added benefit of leveraging Dell support tools and apps. To meet users’ future system expansion needs, VideoXpert Professional can be modularly scaled by adding VX Pro servers.

To complement the launch, Pelco is offering an exclusive “Control with Confidence” one-year, free software-only demo license to users and integrators for up to four channels.

VideoXpert Professional can be ordered as software only; as Pelco-supplied hardware with channel licenses; or bundled with Pelco supplied-hardware and loaded with software and SUP. In addition, Pelco offers a powerful workstation and three server options to further enhance VideoXpert Professional.

 Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras

Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras provide completely stitched, seamless and blended 360°, 270° and 180° panoramic views with electronic PTZ capability across the entire panoramic image for superior wide area surveillance and forensic scene analysis.

Featuring Pelco’s exclusive SureVision technology, Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras capture superior images in difficult lighting conditions where highly contrasted lighting sources exist within the same scene. Optera Multi-Sensor Cameras also feature Smart Compression technology, which reduces bitrate usage, resulting in up to 70% savings on storage. Additionally, Pelco Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras are integrated with over 20 VMS solutions, including exacqVision, Genetec, Milestone, OnSSI, Vista, Verint and Qognify, to ensure seamless implementation and ease of use.

Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras

Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras offer the best in low-light performance and bandwidth utilisation via exclusive SureVision and Smart Compression Technologies. SureVision technology delivers exceptional WDR performance for the most challenging lighting environments. Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras also feature preloaded analytics on every model, and are compatible with Pelco VMS as well as third-party VMS partners that support Pelco’s open API.

Spectra Enhanced PTZ Dome Cameras

Spectra Enhanced PTZ Dome Cameras are setting the industry standard for HD image quality and video security performance. These top tier high-speed PTZ domes are an all-digital system delivering full HD 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, SureVision 3.0 (130dB Wide Dynamic Range), a full suite of built-in analytics and single cable HPOE installation in all models. The cameras also feature HD optimised dome bubble technology, a revolutionary solid pendant design to eliminate vibration noise, 20X or 30X optical zoom, and precise 360° PTZ control. Evolution Stainless Steel cameras

Finally, Pelco is pleased to announce the appointment of Tarek Guetat to Sales Manager, France. Mr. Guetat has a 10-year history with Schneider Electric, progressing from Regional Distribution Manager to Business Development Manager – Solar Energy for France and Northwest Africa. In this new role, he replaces Stephane Lantoine, who has been appointed to the position of Marketing Manager, EMEA for Pelco by Schneider Electric.
