This device is engineered for high-security and heavy-traffic settings, featuring an advanced neural processing engine for swift and precise AI-driven facial recognition.
With a large touchscreen and integrated VoIP intercom, it is well-suited for verification tasks at critical entry points like corporate headquarters and data centres. Additionally, the introduction of Power over Ethernet (PoE) addresses a frequent customer request, simplifying installation while reducing costs.

Suprema introduced two comprehensive access control platforms, BioStar X and BioStar Air, during the event. Scheduled for release in the first half of 2026, these platforms are designed to leverage Suprema's biometric technology fully.
BioStar X provides an integrated on-premise solution combining access control and video surveillance with extensive integration capabilities, suitable for a wide range of site sizes. Meanwhile, BioStar Air, a cloud-native platform, offers seamless connectivity for distributed sites, enabling straightforward deployment and maintenance without on-premise servers.

BioStar Air, integrating Suprema's biometric technology directly with the cloud, removes the need for on-premise servers and simplifies the addition of new readers across various locations. Particularly beneficial for the Gulf region, it connects biometric access control with cloud-based time and attendance systems, leveraging secure mobile credentials without extra user licensing fees.

At the exhibition, Suprema emphasised the capabilities of its Q-Vision Pro video analytics AI module, which is engineered to combat financial crime effectively.

With a large touchscreen display and integrated VoIP intercom, BioStation 3 Max is ideal for verification workflows at sensitive entry points such as corporate headquarters, data centers, and sensitive manufacturing facilities.
BioStation 3 Max becomes Suprema’s new flagship facial authentication terminal, replacing FaceStation F2. It also introduces Power over Ethernet (PoE), one of the most frequently requested features from customers in the Middle East, simplifying installation while reducing infrastructure and deployment costs.

XPass Q2 is an intelligent QR reader that also supports a wide range of RFID card types and formats. It was designed to address two primary use cases: First, XPass Q2 accelerates access in high-traffic facilities where visitors authenticate using QR codes, helping reduce congestion at entry points.
Second, it enables fast and reliable ticket authentication for venues such as events, stadiums, and public facilities. Built for speed, XPass Q2 performs rapid authentication to minimise bottlenecks, even during peak entry times. Its compact design allows for quick deployment, while its rugged construction ensures reliable operation in demanding, high-traffic environments.

For the first time at Intersec, Suprema previewed two complete access control platforms designed to fully lock the power of its biometric technology. These are planned for official launch in the first half of 2026.

For customers in the Gulf region, BioStar Air stands out in two key ways. It increases trust in cloud-based time and attendance systems by seamlessly connecting them to biometric access control. In addition, BioStar Air includes secure mobile credentials as a standard feature, with no per-user licensing fees, making it easy to scale access without hidden costs.
