"Decentralised" MOBOTIX hi-res cameras a success, demonstrates partners at National Partner Conference

SourceSecurity.com recently attended the much-anticipated MOBOTIX UK and Ireland National Partner Conference (NPC) at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow. The event consisted of technical and product releases, partner presentations, live demonstrations and the prestigious MOBOTIX Gala Awards Dinner.

As the first in a series of National Partner Conferences around the world, day two of the conference kicked off to a rapturous start with MOBOTIX's Chief Sales Director (CSO) Dr. Magnus Ekerot delivering the keynote presentation. Dr. Ekerot, a new appointee to the MOBOTIX management board, reiterated the benefits of MOBOTIX surveillance solutions, describing MOBOTIX as a "solution specialist".

Key MOBOTIX products for 2011

Ekerot highlighted some of the key products that MOBOTIX will be focusing on in 2011. These include the high resolution M24M all-around IP camera, the CamIO interface base unit, the T24 IP Video Door Station and the innovative MxControlCenter video management software.

High growth, opportunities and challenges in the UK security industry

Also presenting at the conference was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Lutz Coelen who spoke about the company's positive financial situation, reporting on MOBOTIX's 45% sales growth in the first half of the 2010/11 fiscal year.

Business Development Director for UK and Ireland Mike Lewis and Business Development Manager Dominic Chapman spoke of the new prestigious demonstration facility opened at the Gherkin in London and presented their successes and challenges within the UK security industry.

In addition to the networking and the technical announcements, partners were also invited to share their success stories, showcasing the versatility and efficient costs of the "decentralised" concept of MOBOTIX cameras. It was insightful to see how this concept could not only save money, but also improve the quality of images captured as well. This was demonstrated by the installation of MOBOTIX high resolution camera by MOBOTIX advanced partner SeSys Ltd., a specialist in network vision solutions at Southern Water, a major UK water utility.

The hosts' global marketing director Peter McKee and Mike Lewis ended the night with the presentation of the MOBOTIX awards at the Gala dinner. The awards were given to the companies who were the best performers and most outstanding partners:
