Altronix eBridge IP over Coax Adapters provide high-performance and cost-effective solution to transmit IP video and data over coaxial cable
eBridge makes it possible to use legacy coax infrastructure with the latest IP video surveillance cameras

Altronix, the leading manufacturer of low voltage power supplies and peripherals for the electronic security industry, is showcasing its eBridge line of IP over Coax Adapters at the 2012 Electronic Security Expo (ESX). Altronix eBridge IP over Coax Adapters provide a high-performance and cost-effective solution to transmit IP video and data over coaxial cable for distances greater than 2,000 feet without the need for repeaters. eBridge makes it possible to use legacy coax infrastructure with the latest IP video surveillance cameras and devices without the costs of installing new structured cable and removing pre-existing wire.

“Our eBridge IP over Coax Adapters are quickly gaining traction in the marketplace because they are a cost-effective solution that enables the benefits of IP technology to be achieved using structured cable infrastructure,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix. “eBridge allows users with analogue infrastructure to cost-efficiently deploy advanced IP edge devices to provide the smoothest possible transition to networked system functionality.”

The single channel eBridge1CRT kit, which is comprised of the eBridge1CR Receiver and the eBridge1CT transceiver, enables fast 10/100Base-T Ethernet digital communication and accommodates multiple IP cameras and devices over a single coax cable or one IP camera with composite video and data simultaneously. Also on display is the eBridge16CR 16 channel receiver for large system applications.
