GET Group North America, a provider of high-assurance security solutions that enhance Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) operations, will be showcasing biometric identification technology for live capture and enrollment in the Document Security Alliance (DSA) Pavilion (booth 6058) at ISC West 2017.

Live capture

GET Group NA, along with Covestro LLC (security polycarbonate materials), Regula Forensics, Inc. (document authentication), and Foster & Freeman USA (forensic science equipment), will demonstrate the multiple components required for an end-to-end document issuing and security verification solution—including secure card manufacturing, image capture/personalisation, card reading & authentication, and forensic analysis.

GET Group NA delivers solutions—including hardware and software—necessary for the registration and enrollment of individuals to issue secure documents such as driver’s licenses, identification cards and passports. Its biometric capture solution features live enrollment capabilities so that all captured biometric data is collected at one time, ensuring data is securely tied to the applicant. This reduces enrollment time to just a few minutes; secures the process from application input to immediate ID document production output; and allows biometric data to be in compliance with the highest standards and regulations.

Preventing crime and terrorist activities

“Document security is essential to combatting fraud, terrorism and other criminal acts that threaten not only individual identities, but the safety of our nation as a whole,” said Tony Poole, President of the Document Security Alliance. “There are many components that must function together for a document issuing and verification solution. The DSA members in our pavilion provide an excellent example of how we are engaging in the battle against identity fraud that is so pivotal to document security and the security of our nation.”

ISC West 2017 will take place April 5-7, 2017 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
