NETAVIS Software GmbH, a provider of server-based video management and video analytics solutions launches NETAVIS iCAT JumpStart: an initiative to commercially include the in-house video analytics in the video management software Observer.

Since 2007, the video management software NETAVIS Observer includes object based video analytics algorithms while other VMS vendors are still relying on pixel change for motion detection in 2017. What has been a part of NETAVIS Observer for a decade is also included commercially now. In a time limited initiative, NETAVIS includes iCAT Video Analytics licenses with Observer camera licenses to underline the technological advance of its solution and to jump start the broad usage of the new product, sMart Data Warehouse.
