Suprema, a pioneer in AI-powered access control and security solutions, is showcasing its cutting-edge technology at ISC West 2026.

This event, the largest security industry exhibition in the United States, is taking place in Las Vegas from March 25 to 27. Under the theme “Face the Future of Security,” Suprema is illustrating how its AI-integrated facial authentication and security platforms are transforming the security landscape in North America.

Growth in facial recognition demand

The adoption of facial recognition technology in the U.S. is on the rise, driven by the need for contactless, high-assurance security measures, particularly in sectors like critical infrastructure and commercial buildings. Suprema is offering a glimpse of the BioStation 3 Max, its high-end AI-powered biometric terminal, which is set to launch officially later this year.

Advanced features for high-security facilities

The BioStation 3 Max ensures high-speed, accurate AI-based facial authentication

Designed for secure facilities and commercial building lobbies, the BioStation 3 Max ensures high-speed, accurate AI-based facial authentication. It supports a variety of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods, including fingerprint recognition, mobile access, QR, RFID, and PIN. Featuring a large touchscreen and built-in VoIP intercom, the device provides a seamless experience by merging access control with intercom functions.

Introducing the Q-Finder solution

Suprema is also unveiling Q-Finder, an AI-driven facial authentication solution. This tool is aimed at identifying unauthorised individuals and persons of interest in a wide range of private-sector facilities, such as department stores and casinos. Additionally, it can aid in searches for missing persons and suspects in public safety scenarios. Q-Finder's compatibility with existing CCTV infrastructure allows operators to identify persons of interest in real time, enhancing response effectiveness to critical incidents.

Flexible access control system deployment

Suprema’s platforms are designed to offer flexibility in deploying and managing access control systems

Suprema’s platforms are designed to offer flexibility in deploying and managing access control systems, whether on-premise or cloud-based. Clients can select a deployment model suited to their operational, regulatory, and IT needs, choosing between BioStar X for on-premise security and BioStar Air, a cloud-native platform.

BioStar X integrates access control, video surveillance, and extensive integration capabilities, suitable for both small installations and large-scale deployments. It improves situational awareness by allowing operators to monitor access events, video feeds, maps, and alarms from a single interface. On the other hand, BioStar Air, a cloud-native platform, simplifies installation with just an Ethernet connection needed per reader, reducing complexity and costs.

Seamless integration with security providers

At ISC West 2026, Suprema is demonstrating seamless integration with major global security providers such as Genetec, Software House, AMAG, and Brivo. This compatibility enables system integrators and users to incorporate Suprema’s biometric solutions into existing infrastructures, enhancing their current investments while minimizing complexity and deployment time.

Bob McKee, President of Suprema America, stated, "Our customers and partners are asking for secure and seamless access experiences. By combining advanced AI facial authentication with both on-premise and cloud-native platforms, and by offering third-party integrations with leading security ecosystems, we are giving system integrators and security professionals the flexibility to modernise their security systems on their own terms while preserving their existing investments."

Show full press release

Suprema, a global pioneer in AI-powered access control and security solutions, is showcasing its latest innovations at ISC West 2026, the largest security industry trade show in the United States, taking place in Las Vegas from March 25 to 27. Under the theme “Face the Future of Security,” Suprema is demonstrating how AI-powered facial authentication and security platforms are redefining security of North American market.

The demand for facial recognition technology continues to grow in the U.S., driven by the need for touchless and high-assurance security in sectors such as critical infrastructure, and commercial buildings. Suprema is providing a preview of BioStation 3 Max, a premium AI-powered biometric terminal scheduled for official release in the first half of this year.

Commercial building lobbies

BioStation 3 Max is engineered for high-security facilities and commercial building lobbies, where both security and user experience are critical. The device delivers fast and accurate AI-based facial authentication and supports a wide range of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods including fingerprint recognition, mobile access, QR, RFID, and PIN. It also features a large touchscreen and a built-in VoIP intercom, providing seamless two-way communication for visitors and administrators and combining access control and intercom functions in a single device.

Suprema is also introducing Q-Finder, an AI-powered facial authentication solution designed to identify unauthorised individuals and persons of interest (POI) across a wide range of private-sector facilities, such as department stores and casinos. In addition, it can be configured for missing persons and suspect searches in public safety scenarios, including deployments by police departments and other public institutions.

Managing access control systems

By integrating Suprema’s AI facial authentication with existing CCTV infrastructure—Q-Finder enables the real-time identification of POI in the field, helping operators respond more quickly and effectively to critical incidents. Leveraging a Geographic Information System (GIS), the solution visualises a subject’s movement path on a smart map, allowing operators to understand the overall situation intuitively and coordinate resources more efficiently.

Suprema’s security platforms are designed to give customers and integrators flexibility in how they deploy and manage access control systems, whether on-premise or in the cloud. Customers can choose the deployment model that best fits their operational, regulatory, and IT requirements without compromise, between BioStar X, Suprema’s on-premise security platform, and BioStar Air, its cloud-native access control platform.

Improving situational awareness

BioStar X consolidates access control, video surveillance, and extensive integration capabilities within a single system. It is designed to scale from small installations to multi-site, large-scale deployments, providing a high-performance user experience when paired with Suprema’s advanced edge readers. Operators can monitor access events, video streams, interactive maps, and alarms from a single interface, improving situational awareness and simplifying daily security operations.

BioStar Air is a fully cloud-native access control platform that connects Suprema’s biometric readers directly to the cloud, eliminating the need for integrations. With no on-premise servers required, organisations can deploy new readers in minutes and scale easily as their needs grow, all while maintaining centralised control.

Access control system

BioStar Air was built to be the easiest cloud solution to install. Each reader just needs a single Ethernet connection to deploy a fully functional biometric access control system. This meets the real world needs of installers, dealers, and customers, significantly reducing installation time, cabling complexity, and overall project cost.

At ISC West 2026, Suprema is demonstrating seamless integration with major global security solution providers, including Genetec, Software House, AMAG, and Brivo, delivering broader compatibility for diverse environments. These integrations allow system integrators and end users to incorporate Suprema’s biometric readers and platforms into existing infrastructures with reduced complexity and deployment time, protecting previous investments.

Cloud-native platforms

“Our customers and partners are asking for secure and seamless access experiences,” said Bob McKee, President of Suprema America.

“By combining advanced AI facial authentication with both on-premise and cloud-native platforms, and by offering third-party integrations with leading security ecosystems, we are giving system integrators and security professionals the flexibility to modernise their security systems on their own terms while preserving their existing investments.”
