This advancement opens up possibilities for deploying surveillance systems in remote areas or those with limited infrastructure, providing a scalable foundation for future system expansion. Depending on the environmental conditions and cell configuration, the coverage can range from a few hundred meters to several kilometers per base station.

The private cellular networks’ security features, such as SIM-based device authentication and strong encryption, ensure data protection. Set to launch in the U.S. in August 2026 and select EMEA countries thereafter, the AXIS TP3604-E adds robust security to surveillance infrastructures.
The AXIS P1486-LE Global Shutter Camera debuts as the first of its kind in video surveillance, capturing detailed images in high-speed settings using CMOS global shutter technology. It connects compatible AXIS P14 and AXIS P32 cameras directly to an enterprise Private Cellular Network (PCN), eliminating the need for costly trenching and complex cabling. As a result, integrators can rapidly deploy cameras wherever PCN coverage and AC power are available, bypassing the limitations of Wi-Fi or public cellular networks while delivering fast, reliable connectivity through a dedicated private network.
