Axis Communications announces the release of functionality that will allow the recently launched AXIS S3008 Recorder to be installed in a system using AXIS Camera Station. The new functionality will be available during the first semester 2021. AXIS S3008 Recorder is an easy-to-install, ultra-high-definition recording solution compatible with AXIS Companion Video Management Software.
The compatibility with AXIS Camera stations provides flexibilities such as :
- Customers currently using AXIS Companion and an AXIS S3008 Recorder can easily move to an AXIS Camera Station system while keeping all existing hardware.
- It will also be possible to expand an existing AXIS Camera Station system by installing an AXIS S3008 recorder on the edge or at remote sites.
