Verkada Inc.

HiveWatch, a physical security software company reimagining how organisations keep their people and assets safe, announced it has integrated its HiveWatch® Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) Operating System (OS) with Verkada’s access control and video security solutions.

This integration allows Verkada customers to bridge the gap between existing investments in legacy infrastructure and the purchase of new Verkada hardware, using the HiveWatch® GSOC OS to bring together disparate systems as an organisation scales.

Scalability for businesses

As Verkada continues to expand its platform to serve even more customers, strategic integrations with partners like HiveWatch will unlock value for pioneers who manage Global Security Operations Centres,” said Filip Kaliszan, Co-Founder and CEO, Verkada.

This partnership underscores our commitment to simplifying security operations and ensuring scalability for businesses of all sizes.”

Verkada’s streaming APIs

Centralising the control of multiple video and access control feeds allows GSOC operators

Within the HiveWatch® platform, users can now stream live and alarm-related footage from Verkada cameras, along with access-related events in a single, easy-to-use platform alongside other existing data streams.

Leveraging Verkada’s streaming APIs means that HiveWatch customers do not need additional hardware, further enhancing scalability. Centralising the management of multiple video and access control feeds allows GSOC operators and security pioneers the ability to quickly and efficiently respond to emerging incidents.

HiveWatch® GSOC OS

Additionally, Verkada customers can now leverage the all-in-one easy-to-use and deploy HiveWatch® GSOC OS to:

  • Reduce false alarms
  • Provide performance metrics and analytics
  • Centralise the storage of security resources (standard operating procedures, device data, floorplans, etc.)
  • Streamline incident management and response
  • Optimise communication between operators and field resources (like guards)
  • Manage guard patrols and field-reported incidents
  • Dispatch localised emergency response (e911)

GSOC operations

Verkada has proven to be a powerful force within the security industry, and as organisations continue to expand and adopt their access control and video solutions, HiveWatch is poised to provide a way to ensure Verkada customers can scale as efficiently as possible,” said Ryan Schonfeld, Founder & CEO, HiveWatch.

Combining the value that HiveWatch brings to GSOC operations, with the powerful cloud-based solutions that Verkada has built, allows security pioneers the kind of seamless incident response and management that companies are looking for today. This marks the first of many integrations with the Verkada ecosystem.” HiveWatch and Verkada will showcase the partnership during ISC West, April 10-12, in Las Vegas, at Booth #34074 and #23029, respectively.
