The UK's leading supplier of IP systems for security and surveillance - CCTV Center - announces that they are launching a new business division called Nexus Connect. The new division has been built on a concept specifically developed to focus on designing sophisticated integrated IP solutions for a variety of security and surveillance industry applications and offers a forward thinking 'all inclusive' alternative to traditional security industry distribution models.

Andy Coombes, Managing Director of Center Group, which owns CCTV Center, says: "In the modern world the security industry is rapidly converging with IT and the traditional model of routes to market has become inadequate. Systems are vastly more complex operating in a software driven environment. Traditional skills suited to the analogue world no longer apply.”

"Our Nexus Connect concept is focused on delivery of systems that fully integrate visual security into fire, alarm and access control systems.”

"The Nexus Connect model of business is a unique alliance of selected manufacturers - including SeeTec, Panasonic, Sony, JVC, FLIR and Videotec - specialised integrators and Center Group linking to the end user. All our partners fully support our proposition and are focused not only on the development of market opportunities but also on providing the highest value customer support and satisfaction. Our partners are clearly able, with us, to quickly drive the development of solutions that are both bespoke to individual markets and clients at this exciting time."

Center Group - which up to now has traded exclusively as CCTV Center has spent a huge effort securing the support of a number of prime manufacturers who have underwritten Nexus Connect. This has been achieved by working closely with selected manufacturers and software developers in order to be able to deliver the best from their products and systems, including bespoke solutions to be tailored to the needs of specific projects. The goal for all partners is therefore to provide high value solutions that not only perform to the highest level, but also remain cost effective.

Robert Tate is head of the new Nexus Connect division. He says: "Through Nexus Connect the client only deals with fully accredited and trained staff at all points of the delivery chain. All elements have been selected specifically to ensure the highest standards are achieved. The aim is simply to assure the client of the quality of his choice, and to offer premium levels of support and guidance. This includes a comprehensive training programme for systems integrators and consultants, which has the full support of the manufacturers that are part of the programme. This has been made possible because Center Group is the sole UK representative for a number of supplier partners."

Whilst the new Nexus Connect division will focus on integrated IP systems, the CCTV Center division will continue to build its traditional business as the IP distributor of choice, focusing its delivery on leading brands Panasonic, JVC, Sony, FLIR and Videotec.
