Andy Cooper joins Mayflex with a wealth of experience gained from over 30 years in executive supply chain and operations roles

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and electronic security solutions distributor has appointed Andy Cooper in the position of Supply Chain Director.

Role & responsibility

Andy Cooper joins the business with a wealth of experience gained from over 30 years in executive supply chain and operations roles across a range of manufacturing and distribution sectors, working in Central Eastern Europe, China, UK and North America.

Andy will take responsibility for stock purchasing and management, sales operations and support services, IT, warehousing and distribution with existing members of the senior management reporting directly to him.

Comments on the new appointment

Commenting on the appointment Andrew Percival, Managing Director, stated “This is great news for the business, our customers and suppliers, we continue to grow at a very fast pace and see this continuing for years to come with new technologies, customers and geographies all key drivers. Group revenue exceeds £100m

The announcement of the expansion of the Mayflex board coincides with group sales passing the £100m milestone for the first time, Andrew Percival confirmed “With over 3 weeks of our trading year to go we passed the magic £100m revenue mark, a great achievement for the business reflecting another year of high teens growth. I would like to thank our customer and vendor partner’s for their on-going support, and of course the fantastic team we have at Mayflex for the hard work, loyalty and commitment they give day in day out. We continue to look forwards and set ourselves further growth and improvement challenges.”
