Eagle Eye Networks has announced the launch of the 2026 Drako Smart Video Security Grant, valued at $1 million, aimed at bolstering safety measures in educational institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, and universities.
The grant will support the implementation of Eagle Eye’s newly developed AI Camera Gun Detection technology.

He stated, “Eagle Eye AI Gun Detection integrates with existing security cameras to detect brandished firearms in real-time, enabling proactive responses during an emergency.”
Smart video security solution
Recipients of the grant can receive funding for up to one year for the Eagle Eye Cloud Video Management System (VMS) and related components.
This advanced security setup comes complete with cameras, gun detection, 911 camera sharing, cloud storage, vape sensors, and centralised management, in addition to its analytics and AI features.
These components enable schools to swiftly respond to security challenges and enhance operational efficiency. Schools have the flexibility to incorporate their current surveillance systems into Eagle Eye Cloud VMS without replacing existing cameras.
