Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider, recently announced seven new 2 megapixel cameras for its professional series. The new models offer budget solutions with high quality images and the professional standard in design and production – ready for the megapixel surveillance trend in the mainstream markets.

With the advanced features such as PTZ for simultaneously pan, tilt and zoom, IP67 and IK10 for outdoor protection, and 3-axis for an easier and flexible hardware installation, the new Full HD cameras come in different types, including box, bullet and dome for indoor and outdoor utilities. The smaller size also allows the cameras to be fitted into the ceiling or wall in a visually unobtrusive manner.

“The megapixel camera deployments have expanded into the entry- to middle-level projects in the recent years,” said Casper Wu, Product Manager of Surveon. “With our enhancement in product engineering, we are able to provide high quality yet lower cost Full HD cameras to meet the new market demands.”

Built-in with the new image processing engine, Surveon’s latest 2 megapixel professional cameras deliver excellent image quality in both indoor and outdoor applications. With industrial-grade components, 3 years of warranty, and other advanced functions including auto WDR, H.264 high profile, ROI video cropping, and enhanced 2D/3D noise reduction, the new cameras offer good choices for professional applications such as retail, restaurant, SMB, school, and intelligent building. All Surveon’s megapixel cameras support the ONVIF standards and are fully compatible with Surveon VMS and the major 3rd party VMS, giving partners a broad range of solution selections for their projects.
