VideoIQ's iCVR-HD High Definition Dome Camera honoured as Product of the Year by CE Pro and Electronic House

VideoIQ, the leader in video surveillance innovation, announced that the iCVR-HD high definition dome camera was selected as 2011 Electronic House Product of the Year in the surveillance camera category. The award was presented by CE Pro and Electronic House during the 2011 International Consumer Electronics show (CES), which took place in Las Vegas on January 6-9th, 2011.

The Electronic House Products of the Year programme recognises the best technology products and services in the industry. Products of the Year were chosen by a panel of industry experts, integrators and the editors of Electronic House, to join an exclusive group of products deemed the most noteworthy for 2011.

"We're proud to have received this award for the second consecutive year," said Scott Schnell, president and CEO of VideoIQ. "2010 saw significant advancements in video surveillance, and VideoIQ broke new ground in High Definition surveillance with the iCVR-HD."

iCVR-HD cameras are revolutionary systems that deliver full HD 1080p video, zero bandwidth recording, full megapixel analytics and support for IQTrackTM - automatic digital PTZ zoom and track. Each iCVR-HD has its own built-in NVR with up to a half terabyte of storage, eliminating the need for expensive central storage and separate high capacity networks  - reducing deployment costs, system complexity  and infrastructure, while improving scalability and enabling the use of wireless and wide area networks. Plus, VideoIQ's embedded, adaptive analytics deliver the protection of a guard - instantly self-calibrating to delivering superior real-time threat detection and forensic evidence with no field configuration.
