This order is the result of a design-win announced in 2022, and the customer estimates future orders of NOK 10-17 million in the year ahead.
This milestone reflects the growing demand for trusted authentication in Africa, with several African countries implementing systems similar to India’s widely successful Aadhaar system. This will expand the market for national ID programs, financial services, access control, and more.
