Enhanced models incorporating the Security Update will be introduced gradually during 2026 and 2027. These updated models will feature new model numbers while retaining compatibility with existing systems. Additionally, default HTTPS activation strengthens secure communications and simplifies deployment of cybersecurity best practices. Physical security is reinforced with tamper-resistant hardware enhancements such as robust fastening mechanisms and secure screw designs to prevent unauthorised camera access.
This initiative does not require replacing or updating already deployed cameras, as existing installations will remain secure, supported, and unchanged. The Security Update pertains only to future versions of selected camera models, preserving compatibility with current systems, installations, and workflows.
