Global security manufacturer Gallagher Security has officially confirmed that its latest product, the High Security Controller 7000, complies with the UK’s National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) standards.
This includes meeting the Automatic Access Control Systems (AACS) and Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems (CAPSS) compliance requirements. The High Security C7000 is an extension of their range of controllers and brings new enhancements in cybersecurity features.
Features of the High Security C7000
The High Security C7000 is engineered to offer advanced reliability and resilience, thereby ensuring continued adherence to the most stringent standards set by countries in the Five Eyes Alliance. It builds on the core functions of the C7000 Standard variant, adding expanded cybersecurity capabilities.
At its core, the controller employs a Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS)-approved micro, designed to enforce security policies set in the Command Centre. Moreover, it provides authenticated and encrypted communication with connected sensors, alarm terminals, and readers.
