Vemotion and icomply partner to enable control rooms with live video streaming
icomply enables control rooms to integrate multiple unconnected CCTV applications into one front-end via GUI

Vemotion Interactive, specialists in live video transmission over low bandwidth connections, announced a partnership with icomply. icomply are technology integrators who have been working in the security and public space CCTV area for 14 years. As a result of this partnership, icomply customers can transmit quality live video over very small bandwidth by utilising 3G and GPRS.

icomply enable control rooms to integrate multiple unconnected CCTV and security applications into one unified front-end via their Graphical User Interface (GUI). Their innovative Physical Security Information Management software, V-TAS Pro, provides a comprehensive range of modules to create a seamless control room environment.

By integrating Vemotion software into V-TAS Pro, control room operators are able to select CCTV images from remote locations directly into the front-end GUI, as they would any other directly connected camera on their system. This can work alongside modules such as alarm receiving or guard tour software, making control rooms more informed and, therefore, more efficient.

“Our work with Vemotion is very exciting.  By integrating Vemotion’s technology directly into our front-end, we offer increased flexibility in the monitoring of remote sites,” commented Steven Olbison, System Sales and Marketing Executive at icomply.

Stewart McCone, Managing Director of Vemotion Interactive Ltd, explained, “Vemotion’s highly efficient H.264 based video compression is optimised for very low bandwidths, meaning live video will be delivered reliably, even from the most challenging areas. We are delighted to be working with icomply. The projects we have deployed to date have clearly benefited from our ability to control the bandwidth used at any time, which means the client is in complete control.”
