Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP megapixel camera technology, announced its first implementation of ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) conformance to coincide with the release of the new MegaDome 2 and MegaVideo Compact WDR cameras. The ONVIF specification defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between network video devices.

The Arecont Vision MegaDome 2 is an all-in-one vandal resistant solution with resolutions from 1.3MP to 10MP, and includes remote focus, remote zoom and optional audio, day/night and IR LED capabilities. The Arecont Vision MegaVideo Compact WDR Series is available in both 1080p and 3MP, and provides clear imaging in both bright and dark parts of an image simultaneously.
