The appointment of James Smith marks the second addition to the senior team at QSG this year
James has over 18 years’ experience in the security and IT industries in sales and marketing management roles

Quadrant Security Group (QSG) has appointed James Smith as Sales and Marketing Director.

Joining from Axis Communications, James has over 18 years’ experience in the security and IT industries in sales and marketing management roles.

The appointment marks the second addition to the senior team at QSG this year, following the appointment of Phil Doyle as managing director in February.

Using his experience, James will lead the sales and marketing teams and build on QSG’s expertise of delivering complex end-to-end security solutions for environments such as high security, public space, blue-light, financial and commercial.

James said: “QSG has an excellent reputation, particularly for putting customers first, and it’s this customer focus that really resonated with me.”

“There continues to be a lot of change within the security industry, driven by technology advancement, which gives us both new challenges and new opportunities. At QSG, we are building on our solid foundation and deep understanding of the security market to ensure we continue to offer the best solutions and services to our customers into the future.”

“I’m thrilled to join a fantastic, strengthened team. QSG is known for being a very safe pair of hands, now we want to prove we’re the safest pair of hands for customers with complex security needs.”

Phil Doyle comments on the appointment: “It’s great to have James on board – we now have an excellent team in place to take the business forward and fully unlock its potential.”
