Responding to significantly increased demand for its IRIS alarm signalling technology in Norway Chiron Security Communications has appointed Frode Haugseth to its customer support and commercial team.
Frode has been associated with Chiron since 1999 and as an independent distributor for the company over the last six years has played a key role in helping Norwegian customers upgrade from old fixed line solutions to secure alarm transmission via IP. Now, as the adoption of IRIS technology continues to rapidly expand, Frode is being officially welcomed to the Chiron team and will concentrate on delivering increased support to Monitoring Centres and developing distribution channels in Norway.
Chiron's Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Swann, confirmed that the company has ambitious development targets for the Scandinavian/Norwegian markets. "Our aim is to build on our already strong position in IP alarm transmission and grow our business strongly during 2011, 2012 and beyond."
Frode Haugseth said Chiron is now well placed as the overall market leader in IP alarm transmission in Norway.
"Chiron was the first company in this market to offer products for alarm transmission via IP, and the first to offer all products approved by insurance companies. Our success in Norway is a direct result of innovation and technical leadership."
