VIVOTEK CM80 Series infrared illuminators
The VIVOTEK CM80 Series provides adjustable infrared illumination for security surveillance, combining a 24-LED array with an 940 nm wavelength. Four models offer different beam shapes and coverage options, allowing installers to match illumination to the required viewing area.
- CM80I8-1040: circular beam, 10°–40° horizontal coverage and a specified distance of 140–350 m.
- CM80I8-2040: elliptical beam, 20°–40° coverage and 170–280 m distance.
- CM80I8-4080: elliptical beam, 40°–80° coverage and 80–120 m distance.
- CM80I8-90120: rectangular beam, 90°–120° coverage and 60–70 m distance.
IR output can be adjusted from 20% to 100% through a CaMate remote controller or RS-485 control. Six selectable light-sensor thresholds govern automatic switching, while an external IR control input and day/night switching output enable integration with surveillance equipment.
Ideal use cases
The combination of narrow, long-distance beams and wider coverage options suits surveillance installations requiring targeted or broad-area illumination. IP68 and IK10 casing ratings make the series suitable for demanding outdoor security environments, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +50°C.
Each unit accepts 24 V DC or AC power and consumes up to 90 W. A U-type bracket and CMA-E01 remote controller are included.
