VIVOTEK, a global provider of security solutions, has announced the integration of its Deep Search Plugin with the Network Optix (Nx) platform. This development signifies a significant step forward in VIVOTEK's support for open Video Management System (VMS) ecosystems and advancements in Edge AI technology.
The integration allows VIVOTEK’s AI-enabled cameras to provide sophisticated search capabilities directly within the Nx interface, enabling users to conduct investigations and manage incidents without disrupting their existing workflows.
Advanced search functions
The Deep Search Plugin offers users a range of advanced search functionalities to enhance their video management experience. One such feature is Scene Search (Post-Search), which enables users to apply Smart VCA rules like intrusion detection, line crossing, and loitering to recorded video footage, even if these rules were not previously set for alarms.
Another feature, Attribute Search, provides granular filtering options based on person or vehicle type, as well as clothing colour and accessories. Additionally, users can use the Re-Search function to select a specific face or body “vector” from initial search results, allowing them to track a single individual across multiple camera feeds. This particular feature is expected to be released in an upcoming update.
