Resideo has announced enhancements to its First Alert ProSeries security and life safety platform with the introduction of a new outdoor siren and a slimline indoor keypad.
These additions are a direct response to feedback from installers and distributors in the UK, indicating the company's commitment to meeting the needs of this specific market. These new devices bolster the ProSeries lineup, which already includes over 40 peripherals, by providing professionals with tools to create scalable security systems for residential and light commercial customers.
Outdoor siren features
The newly launched outdoor sirens, PROVSIRENOL1 EU with an orange flash and PROVSIRENOL2 EU with a blue flash, offer enhanced visibility and audibility through a larger interface and 'one-go-all-go' functionality. These models integrate seamlessly with the First Alert ProSeries PROBOX EU and PROAIOPLUS EU control panels. Moreover, installation companies can increase brand recognition by placing their logo on this larger siren interface.
Key specifications of the outdoor siren include dimensions of 320 mm in height, 233 mm in width, and 54 mm in depth, a siren output level of 110 dB, and indicator lights that notify the user about arming, disarming, and alarms.

The PROVLEDKP EU Compact LED indoor keypad provides installers with a more compact option for both new constructions and retrofit projects. This keypad features intuitive operation, encrypted communication protocols, and a modern design intended to improve the end-user experience.
Key hardware details of the indoor keypad include dimensions of 136 mm in height, 88 mm in width, and 25 mm in depth. It also features arming buttons for total and perimeter security, an RFID badge reader, and an alert function.

Both the new siren and keypad are compatible with the Resideo Pro App, which facilitates quick installation, remote diagnostics, and continuous support opportunities for installers. End-users also benefit from a dedicated app that enables remote arming, disarming, and system monitoring capabilities.
Maxime Chila, the European Security Commercial Director at Resideo, highlighted the user-friendliness of these new products: "UK installers told us that products are often too complex for end users.
