Dr. Martin will collaborate directly with Iluminar's clients to enhance risk-informed security planning, bolster facility protection and access control, and integrate both physical and cyber security measures in sensitive environments.

His distinguished career includes leadership roles in the federal government, law enforcement, higher education, and standards development. Notably, he has overseen Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) programs for federal agencies and contributed to the Federal ICAM Roadmap, a guiding document for national identity security.
Focus on infrastructure security
Currently, Dr. Martin leads Consullition, LLC, a consultancy specialising in physical and cybersecurity, and serves as a Doctoral Chair and Adjunct Professor at Capitol Technology University. According to Eddie Reynolds, president and CEO of Iluminar, "Critical infrastructure security is notoriously complex, involving cyber and physical protections that have to work as one system." He noted Dr. Martin's expertise in this dual-sided security approach as a key asset for Iluminar's clients.

Dr. Martin is a retired U.S. Army officer whose career spans federal government leadership, law enforcement, higher education, and standards development. He previously directed the Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) programs for two federal agencies and contributed to the Federal ICAM Roadmap that guides identity security across government.
