Telesat, a prominent satellite operator, has awarded Intellian a contract to design and supply enterprise user terminals for the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network.
Intellian's expertise in non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) modem integration and satellite tracking will ensure the delivery of highly reliable, high-throughput access for Telesat's demanding customers.
Telesat Lightspeed Network
Intellian is set to deliver terminals early, aiding Telesat in system development and performance testing phases. These terminals will also play a key role in Telesat's Lightspeed Alpha and Beta Test phases, showcasing system capabilities to enterprise, telecom, and government customers, including the Government of Canada.
Discussions are underway between Telesat and Intellian regarding terminal development programs tailored to other market segments.
