| Mr Jake Kim introduces Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd |
The company states that the change, which came into effect on the 1st January 2009, cements its commitment to the pan-European professional security market and the development of the Samsung Techwin range of products.
Commenting on the name change managing director Mr Jake Kim said: "Our strategic decision to break away from Samsung's consumer imaging business in March 2008 has allowed us to focus exclusively on the professional security market. This has led to Samsung Techwin quickly becoming one of the fastest growing security brands as we continue to expand our operations across Europe."
