Once the system identifies a reportable event, an alarm is generated which can be viewed along with recorded and live video.
Efficient alarm management
Unlike simple motion detection, the clever thing that Davantis does is to distinguish between those moving, or stationary, objects which are of interest and those which need to be ignored. This is achieved using complex algorithms combined with rules to generate business information, health and safety compliance, and security detection— intruder, vehicle, wrong direction and loitering.
In response to growing demand for the Davantis solution, it is now supported in the Bold Gemini platform, enabling any alert to be received, processed and responded to according to its priority and type. High-level Gemini software integration also enables the operator to view other relevant activities associated with the analytics alert; for example, an intruder activation from an alarm panel or hold up alarm.
