Honeywell IP cameras and Fusion DVR offer simple migration

The EQUIP™ range of IP cameras from Honeywell provides extremely high picture quality (up to 4CIF), efficiency (MPEG-4) and real-time video (25 fps). The EQUIP range includes two box cameras, a vandal resistant mini-dome and the new ACUIX™ PTZ IP cameras: HDXA/ HDXJ/ HDXF /HDXG. Designed for use as standalone solutions or as part of a completely integrated system, all EQUIP cameras feature an externally accessible web-based menu and camera tamper detection that lets users know instantly if a camera has been blinded or vandalised.

The EQUIP range can be used with Honeywell's Fusion III v3.6 Digital Video Recorder, which allows users to easily migrate their analogue systems to IP at their own pace. Fusion III v3.6 offers a simple IP license so users can implement IP without installing a new DVR.

"Our mini-dome and box cameras support Power over Ethernet (PoE). And because IP solutions aren't confined to a predetermined number of camera inputs on a DVR, installations are easily upgraded to an unlimited number of cameras. The EQUIP range is designed for applications where object detection is required in general or low light conditions and object recognition is an integral part of the site's security and business operation.
