Dan will develop and lead Lancope’s worldwide channel sales and marketing strategy and global partner programme

Lancope, Inc., a leader in network visibility and security intelligence, announces the appointment of Dan Sibille as Vice President of Channels. Sibille has over 20 years of experience driving channel sales and marketing for networking, security and video collaboration leaders including 3Com, Extreme Networks, Internet Security Systems, WatchGuard Technologies, LifeSize Communications and Polycom. In his new role, he will develop and lead Lancope’s worldwide channel sales and marketing strategy, global partner program and strategic relationships with a full spectrum of partners to drive partner recruitment, market awareness and revenue growth.

Throughout his career, Sibille has successfully developed, re-constructed and revitalised many channel programs, dramatically accelerating partner recruitment and pipeline growth, while consistently increasing channel-initiated revenues. He has a proven track record of implementing innovative, high-yield channel development strategies, and several of his programs have been awarded the coveted CRN 5-Star Partner Program rating.

“Lancope’s business has been significantly strengthened by our strategic alliances with Cisco, HP and others,” said Mike Potts, president and CEO of Lancope. “We have now reached a critical point in the company’s growth stage with our channel strategy becoming a more integral part of our business.
