CCTV design and manufacturing company, 360 Vision Technology, has announced the release of a new stainless steel variant to their range of highly successful Predator ruggedised high-speed PTZ camera systems.

New compact stainless steel version

Featuring a compact and robust housing fabricated from anti-corrosive 316L stainless steel, ‘Predator Steel’ has been designed to withstand the toughest of operational environments. Offering advanced performance throughout a range of extreme temperatures (-40°C to +60°C), Predator Steel is ideal for installation within petrochem, aviation, oil & gas, ports, and onshore & offshore marine surveillance applications.

With a variety of HD and analogue colour/mono camera, and lens size variants available, Predator Steel features the same fully-featured performance as the rest of the highly popular Predator camera range. Model options include a 1080p 30fps 30x HD camera module, and Sony ExView 670 TVL resolution, low-light capability cameras down to just 0.01Lux, up to 44x zoom capability with autofocus, and Wide Dynamic Range for excellent low-light imaging. In addition, 360 Vision software for colour/mono switchover, 360 pre-sets, 16 tours and multiple control protocols are all built-in as standard, to complete the camera’s enviable specification.

Suitable for deployment within hazardous environments

“Retaining the look, size and performance of Predator but with the strength of a stainless steel IP68 rated housing, the introduction of this new compact stainless steel version provides installers and end-users with a competitively priced and rugged camera system suitable for deployment within hazardous environments,” says Mark Rees, Business Development Director at 360 Vision. “In addition to great performance, Predator Steel is backed by 360 Vision’s 3 Year Warranty, and first-class sales and aftersales technical support.”
