CNL with Cisco and Edge360 to host 'Best Practices in Citywide Surveillance for Urban Security and Smart Cities' workshop
CNL Software will also show its IPSecurityCenter PSIM solution as chosen by Law Enforcement Agencies

CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, will join Cisco Systems and Edge360 to jointly deliver a workshop focusing on 'Best Practices in Citywide Surveillance for Urban Security and Smart Cities' at the 36th Annual IACP LEIM Conference and Exposition Indianapolis, IN, on 21st-23rd May 2012.

The Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Conference hosts law enforcement chiefs, commanders, operational practitioners, technical developers and industry representatives. Together they share thought leadership on practices and lessons learned in the innovative application of technology to improve officer and public safety, enhance the effectiveness of operations and build enterprise-wide information sharing capabilities. The conference includes plenary sessions and a host of workshops addressing executive, operational, technical, and communications technologies, policy and practice.

The workshop co-hosted by Cisco Systems and Edge360 is entitled 'Best Practices in Citywide Surveillance for Urban Security and Smart Cities' and will cover how more can be achieved with surveillance assets and integrated systems during four stages of the incident information lifecycle of Situation Awareness, Coherent Decisions, Collaborated Response and Evidence. The speakers have "lived" these best practices, including the largest public/private Safe City programs and collaborative multi-agency systems and will give under the cover examples of how Citywide Video Surveillance integration has achieved unprecedented results in recent megaprojects in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

In booth #209, CNL Software will be demonstrating its IPSecurityCenter PSIM solution as chosen by Law Enforcement Agencies and Safe City Programs around the world to realise the full potential of their security investment by creating unified command centres and implement joint response plans to protect their citizens, visitors, commerce and infrastructure.
