VideoIQ, the leader in video surveillance innovation, today announced record results for 2010, more than doubling its customer base and unit shipments vs. 2009. VideoIQ's record growth was fuelled by strong adoption of new products launched in 2010, including the iCVR-HD High Definition line of dome cameras with full onboard NVR storage, the iCVR standard definition line of indoor and outdoor dome cameras with full onboard NVR storage, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders.

Highlights from 2010 include:

Customer acquisition

During 2010, VideoIQ's customer list continued to grow at record pace, resulting in over 100% growth in total customers from the end of 2009.  Growth was experienced in all major markets including education, utilities and energy, financial services, housing authorities, industrial and commercial within both North America and international markets. 2010 highlights include major competitive wins in utilities and energy, critical infrastructure, housing authorities, industrial sites and gated communities.

VideoIQ launched a line of iCST streaming cameras and encodersdelivering state of the art video quality, superior lens options and powerful analytics.  Designed for central storage environments, VideoIQ streaming cameras and encoders include VideoIQ's award winning embedded adaptive analytics, delivering superior real-time threat detection.  Finally, VideoIQ's iCST cameras and encoders, along with the award winning line of iCVR standard resolution and high definition cameras and encoders, are pre-integrated with leading video management platforms to meet individual customer needs.

Partnership with Niscayah US

VideoIQ and Niscayah US entered into a formal partnership, providing joint customers with a comprehensive solution for intelligent, proactive video surveillance and distributed storage. VideoIQ's line of award winning cameras and encoders combined with Niscayah'spremier service deliver new levels of security and more scalable system design to joint customers.

GSA Schedule 84 inclusion

VideoIQ's line of iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders and iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders were added to the General Services Administration's (GSA) Schedule 84. The GSA Schedule Program offers local, state and federal government agencies a simplified process for obtaining the latest information technology quality products and services. With VideoIQ's inclusion, government organizations have even greater access to VideoIQ's award winning surveillance systems, helping maximize public security investments while minimizing costs.

Technology partnerships with Avigilon, Fluidmesh and Vidsys

VideoIQ continued to expand its extensive list of technology partnerships and added key relationships with Avigilon, Fluidmesh and Vidsys.  With a comprehensive list of integration and solution partners, customers are able to easily integrate VideoIQ's award winning technology into their existing systems, or design a solution to enhance security and meet their individual needs.
