Hanwha Techwin presents Wisenet X series video surveillance solutions

Hanwha Techwin, a provider of global security solutions, builds on the foundation of its highly regarded Wisenet line by launching Wisenet X series featuring Hanwha’s new Wisenet 5, self-developed chipset, one of the most important core technologies developed to date by Hanwha Techwin.

Wisenet X series offers industry leading 150dB WDR performance, clear images in extreme low light conditions, and WiseStream II compression technology for reduced data transfer. A convenient USB port is also available for easy set-up and installation. Satisfying project needs

By adding the Wisenet X series to the recently released Wisenet Q and P series, Hanwha Techwin offers a comprehensive line-up of video surveillance solutions, from affordable entry level to competitive high-performance products that satisfy the needs of projects and customers in all market sectors.

Most common WDR images are captured by composing 2 frames with different exposures. Wisenet X series WDR achieves 150dB by capturing 4 frames at high speed (1/120s), combining them into one image, creating more fluid video while still achieving 30fps. This new technology has been developed to address weaknesses of existing WDR technology, providing clear and vivid images.

Monitoring of color images in low-light environments is made possible with the new Wisenet 5 chipset and processing technology. With Hanwha Techwin’s outstanding optical technology, Wisenet X series cameras produce images that can be monitored in color even in low-light environments without IR LED allowing vivid images to be captured regardless of the environment or time of day. 

H.265 and WiseStream II compression

For substantial bandwidth savings, Wisenet X cameras combine H.265 compression and WiseStream II, a complementary compression technology which dynamically controls encoding, balancing quality and compression according to movement in the image. Data reduction of up to 99% can be achieved with Wisenet X series cameras.

Using the USB port, Wisenet X series cameras allows for certain adjustments (i.e. focus, viewing angle) directly from mobile devices via Wi-Fi and wired. Installers can reduce installation time, dramatically reducing costs.Stabilisation comes into effect when a camera is disturbed by wind or vibrations, resulting in more stable images 

License-free video analytics

The Wisenet X series offers license-free analytics. The audio analysis function recognises critical sounds, such as gunshots, explosions, screams, and broken glass, and then immediately issues an alarm.

Additional analytics include queue management that analyses queues generated in specific environments, such as a shop or bank for more efficient management.

Dual SD card slots allow up to 512GB of video to be saved automatically on-board the camera, to preserve data in the event of a network disruption. Gyro sensors have been added to the technology used in existing cameras for more accurate stabilisation. Stabilisation comes into effect when a camera is disturbed by wind or vibrations, resulting in more stable images.
