Hikvision has launched a range of new products, solutions, and services aimed at enhancing the operations of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and their security installers.

This initiative, highlighted during the "Unlock AI, Unlock SMB Growth" event as part of the HikTech Star Tour 2025, brought together the company's global SMB business partners at its headquarters in Hangzhou, China. Central to these innovations are the Hikvision Guanlan Large-Scale AI Models, which are enhancing performance and intelligence across the company's offerings.

Enhanced video security solutions

The event featured demonstrations of upgraded video security, advanced access control, comprehensive SMB solutions, and AI-powered tools, all designed to help installers identify new business avenues and broaden their service range.

Derek Yang, Vice President of Hikvision International Business Centre, emphasised the company's dedication to the SMB market, stating, "Our commitment to the SMB market is stronger than ever. We're transforming how technology serves as a growth accelerator for businesses. By infusing the power of Guanlan AI models into our products and tools, we are enabling partners to deliver superior value to their customers while operating more efficiently."

Innovations in AI-powered security

AI is reshaping the landscape of video security, offering significant benefits to installers and their clients

AI is reshaping the landscape of video security, offering significant enhancements to installers and their clients. Hikvision's AcuSeek NVRs transform video investigation through text-based search capabilities, permitting users to swiftly locate relevant footage with simple descriptions like "person wearing a red top." This technology also supports custom alerts for situations such as "a person riding a motorcycle," allowing businesses to focus on critical monitoring needs.

DeepinViewX Cameras offer improved accuracy in video analytics, cutting false alarms by over 90% and extending the detection range for perimeter security. These cameras also support extensive AI algorithms for detailed object and event analysis, integrating customised AI functionalities into daily business operations.

Additionally, the HikAI-ISP image signal processing integrated within the new ColorVu 3.0 and AI Pro PTZ Cameras markedly enhances image quality, ensuring sharp details and accurate colour reproduction, even under challenging lighting conditions.

AI-enabled access control systems

Beyond video security, Hikvision presented AI-powered access control systems at the event, designed to meet daily needs in residential, office, and transportation environments.

Examples include TalkVu Video Intercoms with 4 MP video and dual microphones, Prime Pass Speed Gates with direct Time-of-Flight (dToF) sensors to prevent tailgating, and Quick Pass Vehicle Solution offering more than 98% licence plate recognition accuracy. Additionally, their Security Inspection Systems boast a 98.8% detection rate for prohibited items.

Comprehensive one-stop solutions

Hikvision has introduced four one-stop solutions tailored to typical SMB scenarios, including shops

Hikvision has introduced four one-stop solutions tailored to typical SMB scenarios, including shops, villas, offices, and condominiums. Each solution integrates various technologies to meet specific user requirements, providing clear advantages for installers.

For instance, the Shop Solution not only enhances security with Live Guard cameras and MinMoe access control but also supports business optimisation through people-counting and heat-mapping technologies.

AI tools transforming installer workflows

To support installers facing time and knowledge challenges, Hikvision unveiled two AI-driven assistant tools. The HPP Designer simplifies the business process for installers, automating tasks like layout design, coverage simulation, and quotation creation.

Meanwhile, the AI chatbot Hikie, available 24/7 in multiple languages, serves as an on-demand expert for installers, answering their questions promptly.

Through offering intelligent products, ready-to-deploy solutions, and tools that enhance operational efficiency, Hikvision aims to equip installers with the resources needed to distinguish their offerings, secure more contracts, and cultivate enduring customer relationships.

Hikvision has introduced a suite of products, solutions, and services designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) and their security installers work smarter and grow faster. The launch event, called "Unlock AI, Unlock SMB Growth" and part of the HikTech Star Tour 2025, brought together Hikvision's SMB business partners from around the world at its campus in Hangzhou, China.

At the core of these innovations are the Hikvision Guanlan Large-Scale AI Models. These are boosting performance and intelligence across Hikvision’s product portfolio.

Upgraded video security

"Our commitment to the SMB market is stronger than ever," said Derek Yang, Vice President of Hikvision International Business Centre. "We're transforming how technology serves as a growth accelerator for businesses. By infusing the power of Guanlan AI models into our products and tools, we are enabling partners to deliver superior value to their customers while operating more efficiently."

The event showcased how upgraded video security, advanced access control, one-stop SMB solutions, and AI assistant tools can help installers tap into new business opportunities and expand their service offerings.

AI-powered products that solve real-life challenges

In the realm of video security, AI is fundamentally changing what installers can deliver to their customers:

  • Smarter Video Search by Text: AcuSeek NVRs revolutionise video investigation with text-based search capabilities. Users can simply type descriptions such as "person wearing a red top" to instantly locate relevant footage—eliminating hours of manual review. The system also allows users to create custom text-based alarms, such as alerts for "a person riding a motorcycle," giving businesses the flexibility to monitor for situations that matter most to them.
  • More Accurate Video Analytics: DeepinViewX Cameras reduce false alarms by over 90% while doubling the detection range for perimeter protection. Beyond security, dedicated AI algorithms run on the cameras to deliver precise object and event analysis—enabling businesses to integrate customisable AI capabilities into their daily operations.
  • Clearer Imaging in Any Condition: Integrated into the new ColorVu 3.0 and AI Pro PTZ Cameras, the HikAI-ISP image signal processing technology dramatically improves image clarity in challenging lighting and dynamic scenes. The technology provides sharper details, superior colour reproduction, and reduced motion blur, ensuring critical details are captured 24/7.

AI-powered access control systems

Apart from security, the event also covered AI-powered access control systems that address daily needs for safer, faster access in residences, offices, and transportation hubs.

TalkVu Video Intercoms provide 4 MP video and dual microphones, Prime Pass Speed Gates prevent tailgating with direct Time-of-Flight (dToF) sensors, Quick Pass Vehicle Solution delivers over 98% licence plate recognition accuracy, and Security Inspection Systems achieve 98.8% detection rates for prohibited items.

AI-driven, one-stop solutions ready to deploy

Moving beyond individual products, Hikvision introduced four one-stop solutions designed for common SMB scenarios: shops, villas, offices, and condominiums. Each solution combines multiple technologies to address specific user needs while creating clear selling points for installers.

The Shop Solution, for example, enhances both security and operations. It uses Live Guard cameras for deterrence and secures storage rooms with MinMoe access control. Meanwhile, people-counting and heat-mapping technologies provide valuable data on customer traffic to help optimise business decisions.

AI assistant tools and services

To address installers’ time and knowledge challenges, Hikvision has launched two powerful AI assistant tools. HPP Designer streamlines the business journey for installers from consultation to quotation by automating processes such as layout design, coverage simulation, and quote creation.

Hikie, an AI chatbot available 24/7 in multiple languages, instantly answers installers’ questions like a Hikvision expert on call.

A comprehensive growth engine

By delivering intelligent products, ready-to-deploy solutions, and efficiency-boosting tools, Hikvision is providing installers with everything they need to differentiate their offerings, close more deals, and build lasting customer relationships.
